Version 1.3 4/12/03 Now supports yEnc and can be pointed to any news server. GalaxyGrabber© gives you the ability to download images galore from the Internet Newsgroups.  GalaxyGrabber is currently in Beta .07 version.  In it's current state, will allow you to download images and save them to your hard drive at the speed of your connection.  Meaning if you're on a Starband unit, get ready for "retrieval mania". Future versions of GalaxyGrabber© will allow the retrieval of other binarie data such as MP3's, Zips and just about anything that can be posted. It's as simple as: downloading the newsgroup listing from your server subscribing to one that interests you downloading the headers  Selecting and downloading the images you're interested in.
