Hello All, As many of you are well aware, a tragedy in my immediate family a few years ago, initially pulled me from the site. That downtime for me resulted in having to work extremely hard with existing cliental to keep things moving for my family and myself. I've been taking on projects that have kept me working till the wee hours of the mornings without any spare time for play or pleasure. I believe I am now in a position to try and put some effort back into Starbandusers.com. With that being said, I have purchased hosting space on a new server and will be moving Starbandusers.com to that server as soon as possible. As with most technology related items, the price of hosting has gone down over the last several years and the capacity that you get for said price has increased, so the idea is that we will be moving to a larger capacity server that will cost a little less per month to operate. The forums will also be changing to a new format. This, of course, will be the largest chore in this endeavor. It will go from a Perl cgi based to a PHP based board. What this means is that you may have to reset your passwords and have them emailed to you once the new board is up and running. My goal is to convert the existing posts into the new board, however, this may not be feasible, so please bare with me if we have to use the old board as an “archive” and start fresh with the new board. I will be getting information from contacts at starband about the newer modems and will update the tutorials to reflect these units.
